1. Natural ingredients such as soy wax, shea butter, coconut oil, and body safe fragrances are generally safe, but it's essential to ensure that you do a patch test on your inner arm before the massage.

2. Flame Management - Trim the wick to 5mm before each use to prevent the flame from becoming too large or erratic. Always extinguish (blow out) the flame before pouring the melted wax onto the skin.

3. Low Melting Point - The wax and ingredients used have a low melting point and will not burn the skin on application. Always proceed with care and do a small patch test before full application.

4. Skin Safety - Conduct a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any adverse reactions before using the candle extensively. Monitor for redness, irritation, or allergic reactions.

5. Application Temperature - Test the temperature of the melted wax on your wrist before applying it to sensitive areas of the body. It should be comfortably warm, not hot, to avoid burns.

6. For safety reasons stop using your candle once there is 1cm of wax left in the bottom of the jar. This avoids the metal tab burning and causing your jar to overheat and crack.

7. Fire Safety - Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable materials. Place the candle on a stable surface and away from drafts to prevent accidental tipping.
